Welcome to my review on the amazing Aeolis Tinos Suites in the Cyclades Islands, Greece! My name is Elena Tsoumpou and I was born and raised in Athens. I studied ancient Greek and modern literature, but in recent years I started my e-shop and began to become more active on Instagram.
From a young age, I have been obsessed with travel. Today, I love nothing more than sharing my travel experiences with my friends and followers on social media. You can follow me on Instagram: @elena_tsoumpou.
Staying at Aeolis Tinos Suites
I have been to Tinos many times. The island is only a few hours from the Port of Piraeus and is ideal for a relaxing weekend. Of course, if one goes for the first time it will take more days to explore. Tinos has a town with one of the most famous churches in Greece and many Greeks go even for a day just to worship. On my most recent trip, I only stayed for the weekend.
I first learned about Aeolis Tinos Suites on social media. When I browsed their website, and as soon as I saw photos, I fell in love! They provided us with a pick-up service on our arrival to the island because the suites are located a few minutes away from the port. The hotel gave us info on the best sights of Tinos, how to rent a car and everything else we needed.
When we arrived, they guided us through and talked all about the facilities and what activities we could do on the island. The best part? While we were waiting for our suite to be ready, the staff members offered us homemade lemonade that we enjoyed by the pool with a panoramic view of the whole island of Tinos. Our first impressions were certainly good ones!

My Rating of Aeolis Tinos Suites: 10/10!
I only had the chance to spend one night at Aeolis Tinos Suites because I had just the weekend on Tinos, but it was a magical time! I chose a room for two people with a private pool, from which I enjoyed panoramic views of the island. The view alone is enough to take your breath away!
Also, I enjoyed the excellent and delicious breakfast and dinner in the wonderful restaurant called Zoga Restaurant. The menu is created by a famous Greek chef with a Michelin star, Tasos Mantis (@tasos_mantis).
Overall, I rate my stay as a 10/10 experience! If someone is visiting Tinos, it’s definitely worth staying at Aeolis Tinos Suites for a few nights because they offer a dreamy and world-class experience. The suites themselves are incredible and all the facilities are amazing, not to mention the sunsets!
The most magical moment during my stay was when the sun set and all the white houses of Tinos were lit up with gorgeous colors. We enjoyed all of this with panoramic views from the private pool of our suite.

Exploring the Beautiful Island of Tinos
During my weekend escape, I didn’t have much time to explore the island. I have done some exploring on my previous visits to the island though and I recommend visiting the picturesque villages, swimming at the beaches with blue water and, of course, wandering around the Church of Panagia Megalochari which is visited by people from all over the world.
In fact, there is a red carpet on the stairs of the church that leads up to the temple. Many believers climb on their knees until they reach the top. It’s quite the sight to see and you will have a great time at this church for sure!
Need to Know Before you Go
Make sure you book your reservation weeks in advance if you go in summer. The island is full of people during the peak summer months! If you can, book a room with a private pool. This will take your stay to the next level. And of course, watch the sunset every night while enjoying a drink and try the wonderful flavors from the restaurant located on the premises!
