Could you tell us about yourself – where are you from and what inspired your passion for travel?

My name is Charlie and I’m a full-time traveler creating content from all around the world. I have a supportive partner and family unit that joins me on my adventures. I’m originally from London but recently started living between England and Tenerife. My passion for traveling began when I was a teenager and my first trips abroad took place when I was 16-years-old.

What career did you have before you started to travel and how did you start traveling full-time?

I used to run aesthetic clinics and have always had my own businesses. But, to be honest, I never thought that I would be a full-time traveler. The transition from business woman to traveler kicked off during the pandemic. We visited Dubai and the Maldives, since they had no restrictions. My love for long-term travel stemmed from these trips. My Instagram grew and people seemed to enjoy my journeys. The more I traveled, the more opportunities flowed my way. So far, I have visited over 35 countries. My favorite destinations are the Seychelles, Maldives, Bahamas and Antigua.

Do you have a favorite memory from your travels that you could tell us about?

One of my most magical experiences was swimming with pigs. I have actually done it twice in two separate places but my favorite was Pigs in Paradise in Antigua. I found this spot to be much cleaner. Indeed, there was a team picking up the mess as they had lots of supplies including food and milk. The tour was also very educational. I was surprised to see how pristine the environment was! I love how they have set up slots for visitors. You have more time to interact with the pigs, and can pet and feed them. I will definitely return to Pigs in Paradise in Antigua in the future.

How can other women transition from their careers/ businesses to full-time travel?

If you have a dream, you should follow it and believe in yourself. The world is tough, and it requires courage and self-confidence. Whether you want to be a traveler, lifestyle blogger or fashion icon – you can do it if you make a plan. Say what’s on your mind, speak your truth and share it with the world!
